The Talons Hockey Prospect Camp Program is very proud to host its annual Youth Hockey Talons Prospect Camp for ALL players interested in playing Club Hockey and our Player Development Program. This includes players of ages 8 through 16. The main purpose of this camp is to provide all participants a chance to learn more about inline hockey, the different levels of competition available, and the different paths a player can take to get to each of these levels. This camp is also meant to showcase what our hockey program has to offer prospective youth athletes.

To accomplish these goals,
we've created a camp schedule with a number of great opportunities. First and foremost, the camp consists of a skill skate and assessment drills in which each player and our staff can assess abilities versus returning rostered players and other camp attendees. We have also included plenty of time in the one-hour itinerary for the players and their families to tour the Parker Fieldhouse and speak to the coaches. At the end of each one-hour camp the program Staff will explain what our program is all about and how it compares to the other types of club inline hockey programs available. This presentation is concluded with a question and answer session to ensure no player or his family leaves with unanswered questions.

The CEIHF Talons Club program offers players the most reasonably priced, quality education in the area while also being a part of a competitive inline hockey program playing for local and national rankings. We at the CEIHF Inline Hockey Program are very excited to share more about our Competitive Club Program and our Player Development Program with you as well as help young players make the best possible decision when it comes to continuing their hockey careers. We sincerely hope you will consider joining us for this camp and help carry on part of the tradition that is TALONS HOCKEY!

For more information please refer to the camp brochure or visit www.ceihf.org. If however, you can't seem to find the answers you're looking for, please don't hesitate to contact Director, Eddie Delgado or Director of Development and Training, Mike Delgado.

Talons Prospect Camp FAQ

What is the Talons Prospect Camp?
The Talons Prospect Camp is meant to better educate and prepare potential competitive club recreational inline hockey players. It is our hope that through this prospect camp program, we are able to answer many of the questions young players have about playing competitive versus recreational level hockey, and its player development program. The prospect camp program allows players to see how they measure up against other prospective players and where they fit within the overall player development process. In addition, the camp gives our coaching staff the opportunity to meet and watch many players we would not otherwise be able to see, as well as those already interested in playing for the Talons Competitive Club and Talons Player Development Program.

Who is the Talons Prospect Camp Program for?
This prospect camp program is for any player who is currently a elementary to high school age player. Whether you are interested in playing COMPETITIVELY or not; if you are interested in playing inline hockey at the Competitive of recreational level, this prospect camp program can help you.

What is the cost of the camp?

One-hour Camp Fee: $25

Full Season Program (January - July) Fee:

New Members: $350 (includes Talons uniform for competitive program)
Returning Members (with existing uniforms): $275
Player Development Program Only: $275 (does not include a Talons uniform)

“Player Development Program” participants are players that may not be affiliated with a Talons Club team for competition, but are accepted into the Player Development program and training practices. These players may also be enrolled into the Parker Fieldhouse “Recreational” league program for competition during their development.

Tournament fees are not included, and vary based on the tournaments selected for the season.

What is included in the cost of the camp?
The prospect camp program includes:
A one-hour skill skate, assessment drills, and practice jersey

Once you’ve decided to participate in the “Full Season Program”, the season fee is $350 (includes Talons uniform), or $275 for returning members that already own a Talons uniform.

* Any replacement jerseys, pants or gloves will require additional costs.

Is “Full Season Program” registration limited?
Yes. To maintain the quality of the program, we are limited as to how many coaches are recruited for each of the teams within a certain age division. The Talons Prospect Camp attendance however, will not be limited. Currently, we must consider limiting the number of teams and players, in order to avoid over-crowding on the rink (based on limited practice time rental and budget limitations) while making it easier to address each player’s individual player development needs.

When will I be notified if I am one of the players selected to participate as a Talons Competitive Team Club member or within the Player Development Program?
Players will be notified as soon as their completed registration is received and processed. At the latest, players will receive notification by November 30th. January 1st will also the final day we will be accepting registrations.

If I am interested in a refund of the “Full Season Program” fee, can I get my money back?
Yes, of course. If the “Full Season Program” fills to capacity by January 1st and before we receive your registration we will let you know as soon as possible and provide a full refund. Players that register for the “Full Season Program” may also receive a full refund if they decide they can not attend the program, and only if they notify the Talons’ team representative by January 1st.

For a “FULL” refund, uniforms must be returned in good condition by the January 1st deadline. Refunds of fees after the January 1st deadline will be prorated based on the amount of practices already attended by the player
